Відомо, що похідні 1,5-бензодіазепінів проявляють різноманітну фармакологічну активність. Вивчено взаємодію 4-феніл- і 4-метил-2,3-дигідро-1Н-1,5-бензодіазепінонів-2 з епіхлоргідрином у різних умовах. Установлено, що в разі застосування жорстких основних систем реакції проходять за атомом азоту N1 з утворенням N1-гліцидил-1,5-бензодіазепінонів-2.
