(η6-Benzophenone)(η5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl)ruthenium(II) tetraphenylborate
The structure of the title compound, [Ru(C10H15)(C13H10O)](C24H20B), consists of discrete [Cp*Ru(II)benzophenone] cations and tetraphenylborate anions (Cp* = pentamethylcyclopentadienyl). Tethering the Cp*Ru group to one aryl ring of benzophenone results

A π-Extended Donor-Acceptor-Donor Triphenylene Twin linked via a Pyrazine-bridge [PDF]
Beta-amino triphenylenes can be accessed via palladium catalyzed amination of the corresponding triflate using benzophe-none imine. Transformation of amine 6 to benzoyl amide 18 is also straightforward and its wide mesophase range demon-strates that the ...

Photochemical Electrocyclic Ring Closure and Leaving Group Expulsion from N-(9-oxothioxanthenyl)Benzothiophene Carboxamides [PDF]
N-(9-Oxothioxanthenyl)benzothiophene carboxamides bearing leaving groups (LG− = Cl−, PhS−, HS−, PhCH2S−) at the C-3 position of the benzothiophene ring system photochemically cyclize with nearly quantitative release of the leaving group, LG−.

Benzophenone 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazone
In the title structure, C19H14N4O4, there are two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The nitro groups are coplanar with the attached benzene rings. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak intermolecular C—H⋯O and π–π interactions.
