Even though the energy adequacy was high, iron, vitamin D, fiber, EPA + DHA were below the recommendations. Food Sci NutrIt was found in the study that medical nutrition therapy (low‐fat diet principles) applied to patients with CAD with or without omega‐3 FA supplementation causes a decrease in serum fetuin‐A levels, and there was no significant correlation between serum fetuin‐A levels and the amount of omega‐3 FAs taken in supplementation and/or diet.
