Peptomer Linkers Enable Kinetic Control over Co‐Delivery of Multiple Chemotherapeutics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A key challenge in combinatorial chemotherapeutic drug delivery is independent control over release kinetics, especially with drugs of similar size and structure. Here, peptoid substitutions to proteolytically degradable peptides enabled the design of fast and slow‐releasing drug linkers.

Delivery of Multifunctional Microspheres via Intravesical Instillation for Bladder Carcinoma: Therapeutic Potential and Mechanistic Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
PCTM microspheres were successfully synthesized using microfluidic and click chemistry techniques. In Vivo and in vitro experiments have shown that PCTM microspheres have obvious targeting, adhesion, membrane penetration and anti‐tumor properties for bladder tumors. The antitumor mechanism of PCTM microspheres is to indirectly induce S‐stage blockage of ...

Engineered ETS1‐Nanoconjugate Restores Immune Homeostasis through Dual Immune‐Vascular Modulation in Relapsing and Progressive Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The biomimetic nanoplatform IMNP (ETS1 pDNA/PBAE@ITP‐MM) undergoes targeted disassembly at inflammatory vascular sites to release the ETS1 plasmid (pETS1). This release initiates a cascade of effects that inhibit pathogenic pathways and support immune homeostasis. (Abbreviations: EndMT, endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition; EC, endothelial cell; TC, T

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Submitochondrial localization of rat liver .BETA.-alanine-oxoglutarate aminotransferase.

open access: yesJournal of Nutritional Science and Vitaminology, 1987
beta-Alanine-oxoglutarate aminotransferase from rat liver was mainly distributed in the mitochondrial fraction, while beta-ureidopropionase, the last one of uracil-metabolizing enzymes to beta-alanine, was predominantly distributed in the cytosolic fraction.
