RNA‐Based Therapies for Inherited Metabolic Disorders
ABSTRACT Inherited metabolic disorders (IMDs) are a diverse and complex group of genetic conditions resulting from deficiencies in enzymes, transporters, or cofactors. These deficiencies lead to metabolic dysfunction and severe clinical consequences. Despite significant progress in understanding their molecular basis, treatment options remain limited ...

Porphyridium purpureum polysaccharides are established hydrocolloids among several microalgal biomolecules, however they only exhibit higher viscosity without gelling capacity. Therefore, this study chose to employ alkali pretreatment to Porphyridium purpureum to investigate whether controlled chemical modification could alter the molecular structure ...

ABSTRACT Objective We previously identified distinct muscle and liver insulin resistance (IR) metabotypes in middle‐aged and older adults. The PERSON study showed that a low‐fat, high‐protein, high‐fiber diet benefits the muscle IR group, while a high‐monounsaturated fatty acid diet benefits the liver IR group. We also developed the MetaboHealth score,

Metallic nanoparticles are emerging as potent antifungal agents, yet their efficacy is rarely quantified on a particle basis. Here, we demonstrate how nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA), together with a newly proposed Particle Efficiency Index (PEI), can relate nanoparticle concentration to fungal inoculum load, enabling more rigorous and comparable ...
