In this study, a comprehensive single‐cell transcriptome atlas of the Dezhou donkey, encompassing 20 tissues and 275 050 cells, is constructed. Through cross‐species and cross‐tissue analyses, distinct transcriptional patterns in donkey sebocytes are identified.

The $β$-transformation with a hole at $0$: the general case [PDF]
Given $\beta>1$, let $T_\beta$ be the $\beta$-transformation on the unit circle $[0,1)$, defined by $T_\beta(x)=\beta x\pmod 1$. For each $t\in[0,1)$ let $K_\beta(t)$ be the survivor set consisting of all $x\in[0,1)$ whose orbit $\{T^n_\beta(x): n\ge 0\}$ never hits the interval $[0,t)$. Investigations on beta 2-glycoprotein I and antiphospholipid antibodies
An outline of the work contained in this thesis is presented. The first chapter is a critical review of the literature pertaining to the pathophysiological mechanisms operational with regards to the antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). The syndrome is characterised by venous and arterial thrombosis, and recurrent fetal loss, in association with the ...

Fusion protein PDGFB‐LG4 exhibits superior osteoinductive and angiogenic activity compared to PDGFB. The PCLHS‐PDGFB‐LG4 scaffold, featuring perfusable and permeable vascular‐like networks, promotes angiogenesis and osteogenesis through the sustained release of PDGFB‐LG4, thereby accelerating the bone defect repair process.

Studies on beta 2 glycoprotein I and antiphospholipid antibodies
Beta 2 glycoprotein I (β2GPI) is a major antigenic target in antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). In vitro studies suggest that it may have multifaceted physiological functions, as it displays both anticoagulant and procoagulant properties. Beta 2GPI may bind to FXI and serve as a regulator of FXI activation by thrombin.

Engineering the Immune Response to Biomaterials
This paper reviews immune responses to biomaterials, stages of evolution in relation to managing these responses ranging from preventing to modulating them. It also discusses state‐of‐the‐art strategies to modulate these responses and modes of their delivery.

The role of beta 2 glycoprotein I in inflammation and autoimmunity
Systemic lupus erythematosus is a multifactorial autoimmune disease which has been associated with several genetic, hormonal and environmental factors. TLRs are a group of innate immune system receptors and have been linked strongly to SLE development.

Immunomodulatory metal‐phenolic microcapsules (mMPMs) is developed in this study that leverages dopamine‐modified hyaluronic acid and FeIII assemble on mannose‐glycated bovine serum albumin microbubbles. mMPMs effectively promote macrophage internalization and M1 polarization, enhancing pro‐inflammatory responses.

This review explores the potential of electroactive electrospun nanofibrous (EEN) scaffolds for enhanced skin wound healing. It discusses how a variety of electroactive materials can be prepared into EEN scaffolds via electrospinning technology, and their applications in various wound types. The review provides insights into the future perspectives for
