A multilevel perspective on MSH6‐associated Lynch syndrome: Integrating molecular, biological, and clinical insights

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
Abstract Lynch syndrome (LS) is the most common hereditary colorectal cancer syndrome, caused by a germline pathogenic variant in one of the mismatch repair (MMR) genes. Among these, MSH6‐associated LS represents a distinct subtype with unique molecular and clinical characteristics.

Lifestyle Factors Associated With Colorectal Adenomas: Results From a Vietnamese Case–Control Study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Although colorectal cancer (CRC) is the fourth most common cancer in Vietnam, evidence on lifestyle factors associated with colorectal adenomas (CRA) remains limited. We conducted a case–control study to examine lifestyle factors associated with CRA.

Familial Cancers Associated With Cancers of the Breast, Prostate, Colorectum, and Lung in Sweden

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Available epidemiological evidence shows that many cancers share familial risks, and this is increasingly confirmed by data on shared pathogenic germline gene variants between cancers. We decided to harness the world's largest resource on familial cancer to assess discordant familial risks for female breast (BC), prostate (PC), colorectal (CRC)

Chronic High‐Salt Intake Reprograms Metabolic Homeostasis Driven by Dietary Rice Varieties via Microbial and Metabolite Associations

open access: yesiMetaMed, EarlyView.
Using a 2% salt diet and a 10‐month feeding to model chronic human sodium exposure, we found that black rice improved glucose tolerance and short‐chain fatty acids, but 2% salt inverted black rice's blood glucose benefits. White rice + 2% salt treatment uniquely increased short‐chain fatty acids.

Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome: Research Progress and Precision Diagnosis‐Therapy Under the Integrated Neuro–Immune–Metabolic–Microbiota Axis Framework

open access: yesiMetaMed, EarlyView.
Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) is increasingly recognized as a systemic disorder rather than a purely local prostate disease. The diagram illustrates the transition from the traditional local prostate‐centered model to a multi‐axis systemic framework involving clinical heterogeneity, local prostatic inflammation, systemic ...
