Evaluation of factors associated with selection for coronary angiography and in‐hospital mortality among patients presenting with out‐of‐hospital cardiac arrest without ST‐segment elevation

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, Volume 100, Issue 7, Page 1159-1170, December 1, 2022., 2022
Abstract Background Clinical factors favouring coronary angiography (CA) selection and variables associated with in‐hospital mortality among patients presenting with out‐of‐hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) without ST‐segment elevation (STE) remain unclear.

Clinicopathological Spectrum of Bilirubin Encephalopathy/Kernicterus

open access: yesDiagnostics, 2019
Bilirubin encephalopathy/kernicterus is relatively rare, but continues to occur despite universal newborn screening. What is more interesting is the spectrum of clinical and even neuropathological findings that have been reported in the literature to be ...

Efficient and Specific PDGFRβ‐Targeting Dual‐Mode T1‐T2 MRI Nanoprobe for Early Diagnosis of Non‐Alcoholic Fatty Liver

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Fe3O4/Gd@BSA‐pPB nanoprobe leverages biomimetic mineralization and targets hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) through PDGFRβ, offering superior enrichment in fibrotic regions. This targeted delivery overcomes biological barriers, enhancing both the accuracy and sensitivity of MRI imaging at early disease stages.

Challenges in Elucidating the Free Energy Scheme of the Laccase Catalyzed Reduction of Oxygen

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 15, Issue 1, January 9, 2023., 2023
Bioinorganic chemistry: High potential variants of the multicopper enzyme laccase have a remarkably low overpotential for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). Understanding the precise underlying principles are potentially of great value in light of the energy transition wherein the ORR plays a crucial role.

Usefulness of albumin–bilirubin grade for evaluation of prognosis of 2584 Japanese patients with hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesJournal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, 2016
The Child–Pugh classification has some non‐objective factors, with chronic hepatitis indistinguishable from early liver cirrhosis in Child–Pugh A. We retrospectively evaluated the efficacy of albumin–bilirubin (ALBI) grade, which has been proposed as a ...

Diallyl Trisulfide From Garlic Regulates RAB18 Phase Separation to Inhibit Lipophagy and Induce Cuproptosis in Hepatic Stellate Cells for Antifibrotic Effects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Diallyl trisulfides (DATs) selectively induce cuproptosis in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) by targeting Ras‐related protein Rab‐18 (RAB18) and regulating lipophagy. DATs promote RAB18 phase separation, enhance mitochondrial‐associated membrane structures (MAMs) formation, and increase succinylation of dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLD) at K320.
