Histamini i biogeni amini kao indikatori svježine ribe i ribljih proizvoda [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Povecane koncentracije biogenih amina u hrane morskog porijekla predstavljaju toksikološki rizik. Uz histamin, ostali biogeni amini kao putrescin, kadaverin, tiramin, /-feniletilamin, su jednako znacajni u toksikološkom smislu, jer pojacavaju negativno ...

Biogenic Synthesis of Silver and Iron Nanoparticles Derived From Grewia Optiva Leaf Extract: A Novel Approach for Antidiabetic, Anticoagulant and Anti‐Inflammatory Therapies

open access: yesInternational Journal of Chemical Kinetics, Volume 58, Issue 4, Page 159-174, April 2026.
ABSTRACT This study presents the green synthesis of silver (Ag‐NPs) and iron nanoparticles (Fe‐NPs) using aqueous leaf extract of Grewia optiva as a natural reducing and stabilizing agent. The extract was prepared using a Kjeldahl apparatus under controlled heating. Nanoparticle synthesis was optimized by varying pH, temperature, and salt concentration,

Green and Stabilized Nanogold in Eucheuma Seaweed for Reactive Azo Catalysis

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 15, Issue 4, April 2026.
Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were synthesized through a green approach using processed Eucheuma seaweed as a reducing and stabilizing agent. The resulting AuNPs showed efficient catalytic performance for the reduction of reactive orange 1 in the presence of sodium borohydride, highlighting their potential for ecofriendly dye catalysis. Gold nanoparticles

Factors Influencing Undesirable Sensory Properties in Protein Hydrolysates and Remediation Strategies for Food Applications

open access: yesJournal of Food Science, Volume 91, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Enzymatic hydrolysis is used to produce protein hydrolysates from animal‐ and plant‐based sources, which are widely utilized in industry due to their nutritional, functional, and bioactive properties. However, these hydrolysates can exhibit unattractive sensory properties, such as off‐flavors or off‐odors, which limit their use in food ...
