Asymptotic behavior of spatially distributed replicator systems [PDF]
The question of biological stability (permanence) of a replicator reaction-diffusion system is considered. Sufficient conditions of biological stability are found. It is proved that there are situations when biologically unstable non-distributed replicator system becomes biologically stable in the distributed case.

α2 → 8 polysialic acid elicits poor immunogenicity. Small‐angle scattering shows a supramolecular structure with parallel‐chain binding, although in different forms at μm and mm calcium. The major histocompatibility complex requires molecular weights around 2000 Da to produce antibodies, and 2000 Da polysialic oligomers will bind in these structures ...

Glycosylation is a major regulator of phenylpropanoid availability and biological activity in plants
The phenylpropanoid pathway in plants is responsible for the biosynthesis of a huge amount of secondary metabolites derived from phenylalanine and tyrosine. Both flavonoids and lignins are synthesized at the end of this very diverse metabolic pathway, as

Benthic and hyporheic invertebrate community responses to seasonal flow recession in a groundwater-dominated stream [PDF]
Natural hydrological variability in lotic ecosystems can include prolonged periods of flow recession. A reduction in discharge is accompanied by abiotic changes in benthic and hyporheic habitats, often including reductions in s habitat availability ...
