Histopathological Evidence of Neurodegenerative Pathology in Epilepsy: A Systematic Review

Emerging evidence suggests that neurodegenerative proteinopathies, particularly hyperphosphorylated tau (p‐tau) and amyloid‐β (Aβ), may contribute to cognitive dysfunction in people with epilepsy (PWE), even in the absence ...

Stage‐Dependent β‐Synuclein Links MRI and Cognitive Decline in Alzheimer's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Synaptic degeneration drives cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease (AD), but synaptic biomarkers are scarce. Brain‐enriched β‐synuclein emerged as a synaptic damage marker. We investigated its diagnostic, prognostic, and structural correlates across the AD continuum.

A Geometrically Transient Platform for Bioelectronic Implants
Minimally invasive bioelectronic implants often compromise performance for smaller sizes. To resolve this optimization dilemma, a wireless bioelectronic implant with a transient geometry is introduced (MiFi). The origami‐inspired device miniaturizes up to sixfold for syringe insertion and autonomously unfolds post‐implantation.
