Homogenous FACsPbI3 Perovskite Solar Cells Enabled by a Seed‐Facilitated Cation Exchange Strategy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel seed‐facilitated cation exchange strategy is designed for homogenous FACsPbI3 perovskites using the biomass‐derived solvent γ‐valerolactone. Pre‐deposited 0D Cs4PbI6 seeds induce rapid nucleation and efficient cation exchange, producing a uniform FA–Cs distribution and significantly reducing defect density, enabling high‐performance and stable ...

Thermo‐Fluorescent Bactericidal Quantum Dots Based Smart Multifunctional Textiles via Molecular Surface Engineering and 3D‐Printed Interlocked Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A versatile approach is presented for fabricating smart multifunctional textiles by integrating thermo‐fluorescent carbon dot/polymer nanocomposite coatings with 3D‐printed interlocked architectures. The fabrics exhibit temperature‐responsive fluorescence, durable hydrophobicity, strong antibacterial and antioxidant activity, and enhanced UV protection.

A global meta-analysis of the effects of plant diversity on biomass partitioning in grasslands

open access: yesEnvironmental Research Letters, 2021
The partitioning of belowground biomass (BGB) to aboveground biomass (AGB) is commonly described as the root-to-shoot ratio (R/S). Although a number of studies have shown that biodiversity can influence AGB and BGB in grasslands at the local and global ...

Summertime partitioning and budget of NOycompounds in the troposphere over Alaska and Canada: ABLE 3B [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
As part of NASA's Arctic Boundary Layer Expedition 3A and 3B field measurement programs, measurements of NO(x) HNO31, PAN, PPN, and NOy were made in the middle to lower troposphere over Alaska and Canada during the summers of 1988 and 1990.

Biomass Partitioning and Yield of Three Asparagus Hybrids

open access: yesHortScience, 1998
This study was conducted to learn when an asparagus plant partitions its biomass into leaves, stems, buds, and rhizomes, and roots and to determine when after harvest the crown of the plant is rejuvenated to the point that harvest can begin again. The plants used in this study were generated by sowing seed on Jan. 1995, transplanting seedlings into 1.8-

Mixed‐Metal Promotion in a Manganese‐Molybdenum Oxynitride as Catalyst to Integrate C─C and C─N Coupling Reactions for the Direct Synthesis of Acetonitrile from Syngas and Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.
