In Vitro and In Planta Botanical Control of Banana Postharvest Disease Causing Fungi

Botanical (Aloevera + Garlic) extract reduced the L. theobromae growth (in vitro) and postharvest disease (crown‐rot and brown spot or fruit freckle) development (in planta) in banana without any adverse effect on the physiochemical properties such as weight, colour, firmness and TSS.

Sex‐Specific Differences in Dietary Iron Intake and Sleep Disorder in NHANES 2005–2014 Population

This study reveals sex‐specific differences in the relationship between dietary iron intake and sleep disorder. Increased iron intake is associated with a lower prevalence of sleep disorders, with this correlation observed exclusively in women. The analysis also shows an L‐shaped association in women, indicating a threshold effect.

The Anti‐Constipation Effect of Garlic Polysaccharides: Roles of Gut Barrier Integrity, VIP Pathway, and the Microbiota‐SCFAs Axis

Garlic polysaccharides (GP) demonstrated potential against functional constipation. In vitro, GP exhibited digestive resistance properties and boosted beneficial Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus. In constipated mice, GP alleviated constipation by reducing oxidative stress and repairing the mechanical, chemical, and immune barriers.
