Fast copy-move forgery detection algorithm based on group SIFT

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2020
Aiming at the high computational complexity of the existing copy-move image forgery detection algorithm,a copy-move forgery detection algorithm based on group scale-invariant feature transform (SIFT) was proposed.Firstly, the simple linear iterative ...

BLOCK-BASED TRACKING WITH TWO WAY SEARCH [PDF]

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Image and Video Processing, 2014
Tracking is essentially a matching problem. This paper proposes a tracking scheme for video objects on compressed domain. This method mainly focuses on locating the object region and evolving the detection of movement, which improves tracking precision ...

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

USING DISPERSION MEASURES FOR DETERMINING BLOCK-SIZE IN-MOTION ESTIMATION

open access: yesDyna, 2012
Las técnicas de compresión de video disminuyen la redundancia temporal entre los fotogramas del video para realizar una compresión eficiente del mismo. Dicha reducción se logra mediante la compensación de movimiento, la cual está basada en la estimación ...

Reference block updating when tracking with block matching algorithm

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2000
An important problem when using the block matching algorithm to track objects is how to update the reference block to take account of the changing target appearance. A variety of update strategies are reported and compared.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.
