After spinal cord injury, adult microglia remain persistently activated with chronic PRMT6 (protein arginine methyltransferase 6) upregulation. Prmt6 deficiency or inhibition reestablishes microglial homeostasis and promotes a scar‐limited repairment, enhancing axonal regrowth.

Centrifuge-Free Bone Marrow Aspirate Harvest for Orthopaedic Applications
Autologous bone marrow aspirate (BMA) is increasingly being used in clinical practice to augment the repair and healing of bone, cartilage, and tendon by delivering mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and growth factors to the site of injury.

Treatment of Severe Post-traumatic Bone Defects With Autologous Stem Cells Loaded on Allogeneic Scaffolds. [PDF]
Mesenchymal stem cells may differentiate into angiogenic and osteoprogenitor cells. The effectiveness of autologous pluripotent mesenchymal cells for treating bone defects has not been investigated in humans.

Light‐switchable MSCs (MSC‐UCNPs) were constructed by intracellular incorporation of UCNPs. Upon 980 nm irradiation, UCNPs emitted localized ultraviolet light (365 nm), activating the ROS/HEXB/LAMP1 signaling pathway to suppress lysosome–multivesicular body fusion and thereby enhance exosome biogenesis. Embedded within an injectable hydrogel, MSC‐UCNPs

Osteo-core Plasty: A Minimally Invasive Approach for Subchondral Bone Marrow Lesions of the Knee
“Bone marrow lesion” (BML) is a common term used to describe the presence of fluid in the bone marrow. Although various pathologies can cause BMLs seen on magnetic resonance imaging, in this Technical Note we focus on treating the lesions associated with
