Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

The bone marrow derived- stromal cells: commitment and regulation of adipogenesis
Bone marrow microenvironment represents an important compartment of bone that regulates bone homeostasis and the balance between bone formation and bone resorption depending on the physiological needs of the organism.

Ablation of Proliferating Marrow with 5‐Fluorouracil Allows Partial Purification of Mesenchymal Stem Cells [PDF]
The ability to identify and maintain mesenchymal stem cells in vitro is a prerequisite for the ex vivo expansion of cells capable of effecting mesenchymal tissue regeneration. The aim of this investigation was to develop an assay to enrich and ultimately

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Cyclin A1 and P450 aromatase promote metastatic homing and growth of stem-like prostate cancer cells in the bone marrow [PDF]
Bone metastasis is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in prostate cancer (PCa). While cancer stem-like cells have been implicated as a cell of origin for PCa metastases, the pathways which enable metastatic development at distal sites remain ...

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Arachidonic Acid and Freshly Isolated Human Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells
Arachidonic acid (AA), a fatty acid found in the human bone marrow plasma, is the precursor of eicosanoids that modulate bone marrow haematopoiesis.
