Aliphatic Poly(Carbonate)s with Acid Responsive Release Mechanisms for Micellar Anti‐Tumor Drug Delivery

open access: yesMacromolecular Rapid Communications, EarlyView.
Micellar systems based on biodegradable aliphatic polycarbonates and acid‐responsive triggers enhance drug solubility, stability, and tumor‐selective release. This review covers micelles with acid‐cleavable drug linkages and those that disassemble via acid‐sensitive functionalities.

The scale matters: A review on stimuli‐responsive microrobots categorized by scale for biomedical applications

open access: yesResponsive Materials, EarlyView.
We systematically summarize how each scale dictates fundamental choices in design feature, manufacturing technology, driving mechanism, and control strategy, which are inherently governed by scale‐dominated physical principles. Furthermore, the application of scale‐determined operation modes of microrobots across different stages of medical ...

Simple and Efficient Synthesis of N-Succinimidyl-4-[18F]fluorobenzoate ([18F]SFB)—An Important Intermediate for the Introduction of Fluorine-18 into Complex Bioactive Compounds

open access: yesPharmaceuticals
Background: N-succinimidyl-[18F]fluorobenzoate ([18F]SFB) is commonly prepared through a three-step procedure starting from [18F]fluoride ion. A number of methods for the single-step radiosynthesis of [18F]SFB have been introduced recently, including the

Metal‐Free Electrophilic Borylative Cyclizations of Alkynes

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, EarlyView.
Metal‐free borylative cyclizations based on electrophilic alkyne activation by boron Lewis acids provide efficient access to borylated hetero‐ and carbocycles. Early studies using B(C6F5)3 displayed limited scope and application, whereas recent ClBcat‐ and BCl3‐based methods enable mild CB and CC/CX bond formation for the synthesis of cycles ...
