UP446, analgesic and anti-inflammatory botanical composition
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic systemic inflammatory autoimmune disease. Long-term use of currently available therapies for RA produces adverse effects that limit dosage and duration; hence there is a need for safe and effective alternatives suitable for long term chronic use.

Generation of the Camptothecin Scaffold by a Flavin‐Catalyzed Photooxidative Skeletal Reorganization
The biosynthetic pathway of the anticancer drug precursor camptothecin involves an enigmatic skeletal reorganization from a 6/5/6 tetrahydro‐β‐carboline to a 6/6/5 pyrroloquinoline ring system. Here, we show that this transformation can be achieved by photooxidation with flavin cofactors, such as flavin mononucleotide (FMN) as catalysts.

Iron‐Mediated Release of Aged Dissolved Organic Carbon From Waterlogged Peatland Under Warming
This study conducts a five‐year in situ warming experiment in high‐altitude peatlands to examine dissolved organic carbon (DOC) release. The study shows that warming promotes the release of plant‐derived modern DOC in drained peatlands, but amplifies aquatic export of century‐old DOC from waterlogged peatlands via Fe‐mediated DOC mobilization—a ...

The Spatiotemporal Genetic Architecture of Seed Vigor in Upland Cotton
Leveraging the semi‐automated SeedRanger platform, we profiled the germination kinetics of 356 cotton accessions at a 30‐min interval. This high‐throughput phenomic approach delineated a temporal genetic network comprising 541 stage‐specific loci. Crucially, functional validation identified FLA2 as a pivotal, auxin‐modulated regulator that orchestrates
