Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Road Design on Low Bearing Capacity Soils
Soil with weak bearing capacity, like peat and organic grounds, is widespread in Latvia. During the geotechnical investigation for road reconstruction projects, in many cases the discovered soils with low physical-mechanical properties are located below ...

Tunneling magnetoresistance in (La,Pr,Ca)MnO3 nanobridges
The manganite (La,Pr,Ca)MnO3 is well known for its micrometer scale phase separation into coexisting ferromagnetic metallic and antiferromagnetic insulating (AFI) regions. Fabricating bridges with widths smaller than the phase separation length scale has

Fatigue Assessment of Existing Bridge Members
Correct consideration of the service load effects plays a very important role on assessment of railway bridges, especially on fatigue assessment. Eurocode EN 1991-2 introduces twelve types of service trains and prescribes their sequel in normal and heavy

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...
