Behavior of arsenic in ZnSe grown by a closed Bridgman method
Materials Letters, 2008Abstract High-quality and large-size ZnSe single crystals doped with arsenic (As) have been grown by a closed Bridgman method. Photoluminescence (PL) spectra show bound exciton emission related to As acceptors and strong donor acceptor pair (DAP) emissions in all As-doped ZnSe.

Growth of lead sulfide single crystals by the bridgman method
Materials Research Bulletin, 1975Abstract Large crackfree crystals could be grown by the Bridgman technique using graphite ampoules. Their metallurgical properties are typical for Bridgman crystals. However, a high content of carbon is incorporated into the crystals using this method.

Thin Solid Films, 2004Melt growth of BaSi2 by the vertical Bridgman (VB) growth method was initiated from barium metal (3 N grade) and semiconductor-grade silicon. Because Ba is highly reactive at the growth temperature (≈1500 K), the crucible materials were chosen to avoid chemical reactions and sticking between the crucibles and the molten and vapor Ba.

Crystal growth from aqueous solution by the Bridgman method

Growth and Properties of ZnSe Crystals by a Modified Bridgman Method
Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 1991Zinc selenide crystals are grown from the melt by a modified Bridgman method under argon pressure. The electrical and optical properties of the as-grown crystals are measured as a function of the temperature of a Zn reservoir which produces a vapor of a specific Zn partial pressure.

Crystal growth of BSO (Bi4Si3O12) by vertical Bridgman method
Journal of Crystal Growth, 1999Abstract Colorless and crack-free single crystals of bismuth silicate (Bi 4 Si 3 O 12 , BSO) have been grown by the vertical Bridgman method. Some segregation phases have been found to form on the surface and at the top of the crystals grown from both stoichiometric and off-stoichiometric melt compositions.
