Incubation temperature and early in ovo feeding with glucose injection at 37.0°C and 37.5°C improve hatchability, intestinal growth and bone mineralisation, whereas vitamin D3 injection at 36.5°C negatively impacts hatchability and metabolic balance. ABSTRACT Background Optimal incubation temperature and in ovo feeding strategies during incubation are ...

Forest plot of pooled prevalence/proportion of erythromycin resistance in Campylobacter coli (a) and C. jejuni (b). C. coli isolates (0.18) had twice resistance to erythromycin than C. jejuni isolates (0.09). ABSTRACT In this study, a systematic review and meta‐analysis were conducted to consider antimicrobial resistance (AMR) rates of Campylobacter in

This study demonstrates that intraosseous injection of iodixanol into the proximal tibiotarsal bone provides a reliable, safe, and practical method for diagnostic excretory urography in budgerigars. The technique offers clear visualisation of renal structures and can be an alternative when intravenous access is limited in avian patients.

Hens fed diets with digestible Met + Cys levels equal to (0.742% of diet) or exceeding the strain recommendation (0.929%) exhibited higher egg production compared to 0.555% Met + Cys level. Approximately 0.929% dietary level of digestible Met + Cys enhanced egg mass, egg weight and daily feed intake, and improved feed conversion ratio.
