New developments in the synthesis of emicoron [PDF]
This paper reports on the modification of two synthetic steps in the usual protocol used for obtaining EMICORON. EMICORON is a benzo[ghi]perylen-diimide, which was synthesized for the first time in our laboratory in 2012, and has shown to have in vivo ...

De Rerum Natura: How Do Halide Perovskites Self‐Heal From Damage?
How can lead‐halide‐perovskites self‐heal after damage from light, heat, mechanical strain, or radiation? We show that reversible chemical defects underly performance losses and recovery, highlighting the roles of halide and proton migration, redox‐driven reactions, and acid‐base equilibria.

Non-K Region Disubstituted Pyrenes (1,3-, 1,6- and 1,8-) by (Hetero)Aryl Groups—Review
Disubstituted pyrenes at the non-K region by the same or different (hetero)aryl groups have proven to be an increasingly interesting area of research for scientists over the last decade due to their optical and photophysical properties.

A General Synthesis of Bis-indolylpiperazine-2,5-diones
The one-pot synthesis of three dragmacidin derivatives is reported. Sarcosine anhydride (4) is brominated and immediately reacted with the corresponding indole to produce the products, namely 3,6-bis(5′-methoxy-3′-indolyl)-1,4 ...

We present a microfabrication and integration strategy for lead halide perovskite photodetectors on electronic readouts. Standard photolithography, aqueous processing, selective transparent electrode etching, and plasma‐assisted pixel isolation enable precise monolithic integration of patterned 400 × 400 perovskite microphotodetector arrays on a CMOS ...

3,6-Bis(5’-bromo-3’-indolyl)-1,4-dimethypiperazine-2,5-dione
The one-pot synthesis of 3,6-bis(5’-bromo-3’-indolyl)-1,4-dimethylpiperazine- 2,5-dione is reported. Sarcosine anhydride is brominated and immediately reacted with 5-bromoindole to produce the product, which is characterized by 1H NMR, MS and ...

Regioselective bromination of 1,4-dimethoxy-2,3-dimethylbenzene and conversion into sulfur-functionalised benzoquinones [PDF]
The NBS bromination of 1,4-dimethoxy-2,3-dimethylbenzene has been examined under a variety of conditions in both 1,1,1-trichloroethane and benzotrifluoride. Four different bromination products have been isolated including the previously unknown 1-bromo-4-

Chemically Doped Conductive Polymers for Wearable Health Monitoring
Among conductive polymers, poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), polyaniline (PANI), and polypyrrole (PPy) are the most studied and applied. Chemical doping significantly boosts intrinsic conductivity and mechanical robustness.
