Spirometric Indices after Bronchodilator Test in Obstructive Lung Disease [PDF]
"nBronchial responsiveness to bronchodilator medications is usually tested to establish reversibility of airflow obstruction. Among the various tests to establish bronchodilator response, FEV1, FEF25-75% or FEF50%, and FVC are the most widely used ...

Analysis of vocal breath sounds before and after administering Bronchodilator in Asthmatic patients [PDF]
Asthma is one of the chronic inflammatory diseases of the airways, which causes chest tightness, wheezing, breathlessness, and cough. Spirometry is an effort-dependent test used to monitor and diagnose lung conditions like Asthma. Vocal breath sound (VBS) based analysis can be an alternative to spirometry as VBS characteristics change depending on the ...

BRONCHIAL RESPONSE TIME TO A BRONCHODILATING AGENT-ORCIPRENALINE
The specific airway conductance (Gaw/Vtg) of 4 normal subjects and 5 subjects with respiratory diseases was measured before and after inhalation of orciprenaline. There was an almost maximum increase in Gaw/Vtg within 3 to 4 minutes in both groups of subjects after inhalation of orciprenaline.
