Results 61 to 70 of about 588,476 (307)
This study analyses the uncertainty and variability existing in the economic performance of polylactic acid (PLA) production, via integrating techno‐economic analysis with process models and Monte Carlo simulation enabled by artificial intelligence. The results show that the minimum selling price varies from $2,107 to $3076/t PLA.

A revision of the genus Potamium (Musci: Sematophyllaceae). [PDF]
The neotropical genus Potamium as described by Mitten (1869) included species that had little more in common than a growth form adapted to a semi-aquatic habitat.

Galactic Spiral Arms: Structure and Dynamics Given by an Equation of Motion [PDF]
Using an equation of motion for a self-gravitating filament, we show how galactic spiral arms might be created and sustained. We find that the combination of differential rotation of the galactic disk and the self-gravity of the arm (as given by the ...

Aged HSF1 muscle‐specific knockout mice show deteriorated muscle atrophy and metabolic dysfunction, while active HSF1 overexpression improves muscle function via activating SIRT3 to deacetylate both PGC1α1 and PGC1α4, which boosts mitochondrial function and muscle hypertrophy in a fiber‐type specific manner, and induces FNDC5/Irisin for tissue ...

Next generation therapeutics for Alzheimer's disease
To date, no truly effective therapy has been developed for Alzheimer's disease or mild cognitive impairment. In searching for new approaches that may succeed where previous ones have failed, it may be instructive to consider the successful therapeutic ...

Precision Editing of NLRS Improves Effector Recognition for Enhanced Disease Resistance
Precision engineering of plant NLR immune receptors enables rational design of enhanced pathogen resistance through mismatched pairing, domain swapping, and targeted mutagenesis. These approaches achieve multi‐fold expansion in recognition breadth while minimizing autoimmunity risks and fitness penalties.
