Experimenting With Team Norms in a Marketing Simulation
The dynamics of functional groups are well understood and rely partly on a foundation of communally held norms formed and supported by group members. Given time constraints for classroom teams to develop group norms, this research seeks to understand the

Architectural membranes on building’s functional refurbishment
Abstract The aim of this study is to make an insight about architectural membrane applications for building’s functional refurbishment, analysing the characteristics that make architectural membranes suitable for this purpose. It is based on sixty interventions used as case studies that are classified chronologically and by countries ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

The effect of openings in URM infills on the seismic resilience of a reinforced concrete building
In high seismicity regions, the use of unreinforced masonry (URM) infills in reinforced concrete buildings is massive. In most of them, the openings in URM infills due to architectural requirements cause a variation in lateral stiffness which, in turn ...

Multi-functional flexible 2D carbon nanostructured networks
Creating two-dimensional carbon nanoscale building blocks is of fundamental importance, but is extremely challenging. Here, the authors report a facile electro-spraying/netting technique for self-assembly of two-dimensional carbon nanostructured networks

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Fine Grained Component Engineering of Adaptive Overlays: Experiences and Perspectives [PDF]
Recent years have seen significant research being carried out into peer-to-peer (P2P) systems. This work has focused on the styles and applications of P2P computing, from grid computation to content distribution; however, little investigation has been ...
