A novel OTA with dual bulk-driven input stage

2009 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2009
A novel operational transconductance amplifier with dual bulk-driven input stage is introduced, suitable for portable biomedical monitoring system and battery-operated devices. The scheme not only avoids the leakage current of conventional bulk-driven circuit but also reduces power consumption.

Utilizing the Bulk-driven technique in analog circuit design

13th IEEE Symposium on Design and Diagnostics of Electronic Circuits and Systems, 2010
The last few decades, a great deal of attention has been paid to low-voltage (LV) low-power (LP) integrated circuits design since the power consumption has become a critical issue. Among many techniques used for the design of LV LP analog circuits, the Bulk-driven principle offers a promising route towards this design for many aspects mainly the ...

Modeling and design of a Folded Cascode bulk driven OTA

7th International Conference on Design & Technology of Integrated Systems in Nanoscale Era, 2012
Analog circuit design is often based on a large number of simulations which strongly depends on the mastery of CAD tools and competence of the designer. In this context, the automated design of analog architectures becomes a necessity of design to solve the problem of simulation time. More importantly, accelerating the design cycle of the analog block,

Low-voltage bulk-driven rectifier for biomedical applications

Microelectronics Journal, 2013
This paper introduces the novel design of a low-voltage low-power voltage rectifier based on bulk-driven (BD) winner-take-all (WTA) circuit. The proposed circuit is able to work as a half- or full-wave rectifier and it is specifically designed for battery-powered implantable and wearable medical devices.

Low-Voltage Low-Power Bulk-Driven and Bulk-Driven-Quasi-floating-Gate Neural Amplifier Design for EEG

2019
This paper focuses on the usage of non-conventional techniques viz. Bulk-driven (BD) and Bulk-driven-quasi-floating-gate (BDQFG) to design low-voltage (LV) and low-power (LP) pre-amplifier for electroencephalogram (EEG). Gate–Driven (GD) Three-Current-Mirror Operational Trans-conductance Amplifier (OTA) is compared with BD-OTA and BDQFG-OTA.

Low-voltage CFOA with bulk-driven, quasi-floating-gate and bulk-driven-quasi-floating-gate MOS transistors

TENCON 2015 - 2015 IEEE Region 10 Conference, 2015
In this work, the low-voltage current feedback operational amplifier (CFOA) with bulk-driven, quasi-floating-gate (QFG) transistor and bulk-driven-quasi-floating-gate (QFG) transistor techniques to operate under low supply voltage is proposed. The proposed circuits were design based on the voltage follower and current follower while the output stages ...
