This study demonstrates that in high‐alloy systems, nanoclusters with high solute tolerance can effectively suppress compositional segregation. This mitigation leads to a concurrent 18.7% increase in strength and 41.5% improvement in ductility, which is attributed to a shear‐bypass synergistic strengthening mechanism. The findings provide a new pathway

Influence of MHD on Some Oscillating Motions of a Fractional Burgers' Fluid
This paper presents a study for the influence of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) on the oscillating flows of fractional Burgers’ fluid. The fractional calculus approach in the constitutive relationship model is introduced and a fractional Burgers’ model is ...

Error estimates for model order reduction of Burgers’ equation
Burgers' equation is a nonlinear scalar partial differential equation, commonly used as a testbed for model order reduction techniques and error estimates. Model order reduction of the parameterized Burgers' equation is commonly done by using the reduced basis method.

Deformation‐Induced Formation of Stray Grains in Additive Manufacturing of Single Crystals
Stray grain formation severely limits the additive manufacturing of single‐crystal alloys. By integrating in situ synchrotron techniques, ex situ characterization, and multi‐scale multi‐physics modeling, the authors reveal that stray grains originate from dislocations at the solid‐liquid interface, rather than thermal supercooling in conventional ...

Solution of two-dimensional time-fractional Burgers equation with high and low Reynolds numbers
Burgers’ equation frequently appears in the study of turbulence theory, as well as some other scientific fields. High and low Reynolds numbers play important roles in both modeling and numerical simulation.

An integrated transfer learning framework integrates CALPHAD simulations, diffusion‐multiple experiments, and literature data to predict long‐term microstructural stability and short‐term mechanical properties of Ni‐based powder metallurgy superalloys. Based on these model predictions, a high‐performance, low‐density alloy, USTB‐PM750, is designed from

Exact solution of an electroosmotic flow for generalized Burgers fluid in cylindrical domain
The present paper reports a theoretical study of the dynamics of an electroosmotic flow (EOF) in cylindrical domain. The Cauchy momentum equation is first simplified by incorporating the electrostatic body force in the electric double layer and the ...

Confinement, Turbulence and Diffraction Catastrophes
Many features of large N_c transition that occurs in the spectral density of Wilson loops as a function of loop area (observed recently in numerical simulations of Yang-Mills theory by Narayanan and Neuberger) can be captured by a simple Burgers equation

ABSTRACT Estimates of reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from lower demand for cattle‐based products must account for substitution effects. This study collected data through two surveys—one on ground beef and another on dairy milk—to evaluate substitution effects and potential GHG reductions.

A Modified Plastic Burgers Model for the Non-Decaying Creep of Frozen Soils
A modified plastic Burgers model considering cohesion decay is proposed for frozen soils. A series of triaxial compression and creep tests were conducted on a kind of frozen silty clay for obtaining the model parameters.
