Undirected C-H Bond Activation in Aluminium Hydrido Enaminonates [PDF]

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
Two new aluminium hydrido complexes were synthesized by reacting AlH3 with the enaminone ligand N-(4,4,4-trifluorobut-1-en-3-on)-6,6,6-trifluoroethylamine (HTFB-TFEA) in different molar ratios to obtain mono- and di-hydrido-aluminium enaminonates.

Systematic Assessment of the Catalytic Reactivity of Frustrated Lewis Pairs in C-H Bond Activation [PDF]

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
Unreactive C-H bond activation is a new horizon for frustrated Lewis pair (FLP) chemistry. This study provides a systematic assessment of the catalytic reactivity of recently reported intra-molecular FLPs on the activation of typical inert C-H bonds ...

Rollover Cyclometalation as a Valuable Tool for Regioselective C–H Bond Activation and Functionalization [PDF]

open access: yesMolecules, 2021
Rollover cyclometalation constitutes a particular case of cyclometallation reaction. This reaction occurs when a chelated heterocyclic ligand loses its bidentate coordination mode and undergoes an internal rotation, after which a remote C–H bond is ...

Strategies to transform remote C(sp3)-H bonds of amino acid derivatives

open access: yesTetrahedron Chem, 2022
Amino acids and peptides play an important role in nature as well as in the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, transformation of amino acids and peptides into their unnatural derivatives via step and atom economical ways is highly demanding. Although, a

Divergent isoindolinone synthesis through palladium-catalyzed isocyanide bridging C–H activation

open access: yesCell Reports Physical Science, 2022
Summary: The formation of thermodynamically accessible metallacycle is crucial to achieve site-selective C–H bond activation. Here, we report an isocyanide-bridging C–H activation through the formation of a five-membered palladacycle. As such, a proximal

Selective activation of CH bond of phenol in ortho-position into COH bond in a two-phase system

open access: yesCatalysis Communications, 2021
A method for the selective activation of CH bond of phenol in ortho-position into C-OH bond was developed at room temperature over Cu2+ ions in a two-phase system using marginally water-soluble polar alcohols, acetonitrile and water as solvents and ...
