[FeFe]‐Hydrogenase Mimics Bearing Germylene Ligands: Synthesis, Protonation, and Electrochemical Properties

open access: yesChemistryEurope, Volume 4, Issue 6, June 2026.
Protonation dynamics and spectroscopic detection of elusive intermediates in [FeFe]‐hydrogenase mimics bearing germylene ligands reveal key roles of ligand basicity in catalytic behavior. This work shows that the presence of germylene ligands of marked basicity in [FeFe]‐hydrogenase mimics of the type [Fe2(µ‐S2X)(E)n(CO)6–n] (S2X = (SCH2)2N(p‐MeOC6H4) (

Identification of the Health Sector's Roles to the Nationally Determined Contributions: Enablers, Challenges, Interventions, and Cross‐Sectoral Integration Pathways

open access: yesClimate Resilience and Sustainability, Volume 5, Issue 1, June 2026.
This study critically evaluates Tanzania's integration of health into its NDCs, highlighting systemic gaps in policy, financing, data, and workforce capacity. Comparative analysis with Rwanda, Bangladesh, Fiji, and Chile shows that robust governance, measurable health targets, and cross‐sectoral linkages strengthen resilience.

High‐Altitude Hypoxia Activates JNK‐p53 Signaling: Linking Hippocampal Energy Crisis to Cognitive Impairment

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 6, June 2026.
Chronic high‐altitude hypoxia impairs memory in 2819 residents and causes hippocampal atrophy in rats. JNK‐p53‐Bim signaling drives mitophagy‐to‐apoptosis transition and 73% ATP depletion, while concurrent HIF‐2α/PHD2 activation indicates parallel adaptive responses.

Shedding‐weighted network approaches for understanding tuberculosis maintenance in multihost systems using camera traps

open access: yesEcological Applications, Volume 36, Issue 4, June 2026.
Abstract Understanding the dynamics of multihost pathogens, such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTC), requires considering not only host interaction patterns but also variation in infectiousness across species. Network analysis is a useful tool to assess contact structure and disease risk, but it often depends on invasive methods.
