Meigs’ syndrome with elevated serum cancer antigen 125 levels in a case of ovarian sclerosing stromal tumor

Objective: Meigs’ syndrome presenting as an ovarian tumor with elevated serum cancer antigen 125 (CA 125) levels is unusual. Only 37 cases have been reported, including three cases of ovarian sclerosing stromal tumor (SCT).

Loss of SHP1 in Spinal Astrocytes Triggers T‐Lymphocyte Infiltration and Nociceptive Hypersensitivity

Astrocyte‐specific SHP1 deletion disrupts astrocyte–vascular interactions and compromises BBB integrity while enhancing STAT1‐dependent CXCL10 expression. These changes synergistically promote peripheral CD4+ and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration into the SDH. The infiltrating T cells secrete IFN‐γ, which in turn activates microglia.

Engineering Morphological Anisotropy to Control the In Vivo Transport Dynamics, Clearance, and Biodistribution of Silica Nanocarriers

Morphological anisotropy directs the in vivo transport under physiological flow and clearance of silica nanocarriers. Increasing anisotropy reduces cellular uptake, suppresses hepatic and splenic sequestration, and prolongs systemic circulation by steering particles toward the central flow core.

Ca-125 Monitoring during Chemotherapy for Ovarian Cancer

Serum CA-125 was determind in 60 patients with variously extended ovarian cancer and monitored during and after chemotherapy. The study indicates that: 1) prechemotherapy CA-125 shows the presence of an active disease with an accuracy > 85%.

circZNF148 Drives Glucose Metabolism Reprogramming to Enhance Metastasis and Immune Evasion via HK1 Stabilization in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

CircZNF148 stabilizes HK1 through deubiquitinase recruitment, thereby enhancing glycolysis and lactate production. Elevated lactate promotes PD‑L1 lactylation and membrane accumulation while suppressing CD8+ T‐cell cytotoxicity, collectively facilitating immune evasion and malignant progression in TNBC.
