Design and Control of a Cable-Driven Exoskeleton System for Upper-Extremity Rehabilitation
Stroke rehabilitation with the assistance of exoskeleton robots has the potential to facilitate the recovery of motor skills by guiding, supporting, and encouraging movement in the affected limbs. In this work, an upper-extremity exoskeleton actuated by the cable transmission mechanism, was developed for rehabilitation training of stroke patients.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Performance Analysis of Cable-Driven Wrench Applicators
Cable-driven wrench applicators are widely used in robotics due to their lightweight design, large workspace, and ability to exert wrenches. Usually, a subset of wrench components needs to be precisely controlled depending on the application at hand ...

Couplings in parametrically excited inclined cables systems [PDF]
Cables in stayed bridges are subjected to important dynamic solicitations for which dynamic model are now well established. Due to their design, such structures highlight resonance phenomena and instabilities frequently observed.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Towards vision-based control of cable-driven parallel robots
This paper deals with the vision-based control of cable-driven parallel robots. First, a 3D pose visual servoing is proposed, where the end-effector pose is indirectly measured and used for regulation.

Stiffness Analysis of Cable-Driven Parallel Robot for UAV Aerial Recovery System
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) aerial recovery is a challenging task due to the limited maneuverability of both the transport aircraft and the UAV, making it difficult to establish an effective capture connection in the airflow field. In previous studies,
