Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic Modeling to Assess Transporter‐Mediated Drug–Drug Interactions in Support of Labeling Recommendations for Zavegepant Nasal Spray

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 120, Issue 5, Page 1402-1413, November 2026.
Zavegepant nasal spray, a calcitonin gene‐related peptide receptor antagonist indicated for acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults, is a substrate for organic anion transporting polypeptide 1B3 (OATP1B3), Na+/taurocholate cotransporting polypeptide (NTCP), P‐glycoprotein (P‐gp), and cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4).

Epigenetic silencing of PDLIM4 promotes colorectal cancer by impairing BTF3 autophagic degradation and activating PI3K/Akt signalling

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 11, November 2026.
• DNMT3A‐mediated PDLIM4 promoter hypermethylation is an early event in colorectal tumorigenesis. • Restoring PDLIM4 suppresses CRC proliferation and stemness while promoting apoptosis in vitro and in vivo. • PDLIM4 promotes the autophagic‐lysosomal degradation of BTF3 and restrains PI3K/Akt signalling.

Comprehensive Evaluation of Gastrointestinal Factors Influencing the Stability and Function of mRNA‐Encapsulated Lipid Nanoparticles

open access: yesDrug Development Research, Volume 87, Issue 7, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Owing to the intrinsic instability of mRNA, its routes of administration are limited, and to date, only injectable delivery has been clinically applied. In contrast, oral administration exposes mRNA to a variety of substances in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.

Salicylic Acid as a Food‐Derived Bioactive Constituent of Tiaoqi Daozhi Decoction: A Potential Functional Food Ingredient to Restoring Gut Barrier Function in Constipation‐Predominant IBS

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 11, November 2026.
Tiaoqi Daozhi Decoction (TQDZD) is a classic formulation composed of eight medicine‐food homologous botanicals. UPLC‐MS/MS profiling identified 1962 non‐redundant compounds in its aqueous extract, predominantly phenolic acids and flavonoids, of which 107 metabolites were systemically bioavailable.
