Differentiated Speed Planning for Connected and Automated Electric Vehicles at Signalized Intersections considering Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Deploying the dynamic wireless power transfer (DWPT) equipment at intersections can improve the transportation efficiency and decrease the energy consumption. It can easily turn the disadvantages of waiting time for red phase into the advantages of charging benefits for electric vehicles (EVs).

Colibacillary arthritis and severe osteomyelitis in lame goat kids due to management procedures

open access: yesVeterinary Record Case Reports, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2021., 2021
Abstract Lameness in the hindquarters was seen in twenty goat kids out of a group of 90 on a dairy goat farm. Initial treatment with antibiotics and NSAID's did not improve the condition. At necropsy in eight kids, a multi‐resistant Escherichia coli was isolated from affected femurs, strongly indicative of colibaccilary osteomyelitis. In addition, with

Ovine Progressive Pneumonia: Diagnosis and Seroprevalence in the South of Sonora, Mexico

open access: yesCase Reports in Veterinary Medicine, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
Ovine progressive pneumonia (OPP) is the most severe presentation of small ruminant lentivirus (SRLV) infection known as Maedi‐Visna. Serological evidence in Mexico of the presence of this lentivirus was published in 1986. After that, studies revealed that SRLVs have a broad distribution in Mexico by detecting antibodies or/and molecular tests; however,

Priming with tat -Deleted Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis Virus (CAEV) Proviral DNA or Live Virus Protects Goats from Challenge with Pathogenic CAEV [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Virology, 1998
ABSTRACT We previously reported that infection of goats with caprine arthritis encephalitis virus (CAEV) tat − proviral DNA or virus results in persistent infection, since the animals seroconverted and direct virus isolation from cultures of blood-derived macrophages was positive.

Immortalized goat milk epithelial cell lines replicate CAEV at high level [PDF]

open access: yesVeterinary Research, 2001
Primary milk epithelial cells were isolated from CAEV-uninfected goats and three cell lines designated TIGMEC-1, TIGMEC-2 and TIGMEC-3 were established. The three cell lines retained their morphological characteristics of epithelial cells and expressed specific epithelial cytokeratin marker as well as the immortalizing SV40 large T antigen.

Goat uterine epithelial cells are susceptible to infection with Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis Virus (CAEV) in vivo

open access: yesVeterinary Research, 2012
The aim of this study was to determine, using immunofluorescence and in situ hybridization, whether CAEV is capable of infecting goat uterine epithelial cells in vivo.

Characterization of Signal Sequences Determining the Nuclear/Nucleolar Import and Nuclear Export of the Caprine Arthritis-Encephalitis Virus Rev Protein

open access: yesViruses, 2020
Caprine arthritis-encephalitis virus (CAEV), a lentivirus, relies on the action of the Rev protein for its replication. The CAEV Rev fulfills its function by allowing the nuclear exportation of partially spliced or unspliced viral mRNAs.
