After a stressful day of work, or a frustratingly long commute home due to traffic or a crowd on the subway, no one would fault an individual for choosing to relax with Netflix instead of heading to the gym.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.

On the inequivalence of statistical ensembles
We investigate the relation between various statistical ensembles of finite systems. If ensembles differ at the level of fluctuations of the order parameter, we show that the equations of states can present major differences.

Placebo Effects on Visual Food Cue Reactivity: An Eye-Tracking Investigation
Background: Enhanced visual food cue reactivity has been associated with overeating and weight gain. Due to the increasing prevalence of high-fat food images that we are constantly exposed to in both the real and the virtual world, methods that are able ...

Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.

ABSTRACT Subtotal hippocampal resection can leave residual hippocampal tissue, yet the immediate postoperative electrophysiologic evolution of such remnants is unknown. We describe a patient with drug‐resistant temporal lobe epilepsy in whom a hippocampal remnant was continuously monitored using a responsive neurostimulator (RNS) following subtotal ...

Tuning the caloric response of BaTiO$_3$ by tensile epitaxial strain
We investigate the effect of epitaxial strain on the electrocaloric effect (ECE) in BaTiO$_3$ by means of ab initio based molecular dynamics simulations. We show that tensile strain can be used to optimize the operation range for ferroic cooling.
