The Aging Blood: Cellular Origins, Circulating Drivers, and Therapeutic Potential
As a conduit linking all organs, the blood system both reflects and actively drives systemic aging. This review highlights how circulating pro‐aging and antiaging factors and age‐associated hematopoietic stem cell dysfunction contribute to immunosenescence and multi‐organ decline, positioning the hematopoietic system as a target for aging intervention.

Effect of modest caloric restriction on oxidative stress in women, a randomized trial.
ObjectivesIt is not established to what extent caloric intake must be reduced to lower oxidative stress in humans. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of short-term, moderate caloric restriction on markers of oxidative stress and ...

Nationwide Survey of Atopic Myelitis and Plexin D1‐Immunoglobulin G‐Related Pain
ABSTRACT Objective To elucidate the features of plexin D1‐immunoglobulin (Ig)G‐associated neuropathic pain and its relationship to atopic myelitis (AM) in a nationwide Japanese survey. Methods A preliminary survey questionnaire was sent to 1574 selected departments (neurology and pediatrics/pediatric neurology) to explore the numbers of AM and plexin ...

Autophagy and aging: Maintaining the proteome through exercise and caloric restriction
Accumulation of dysfunctional and damaged cellular proteins and organelles occurs during aging, resulting in a disruption of cellular homeostasis and progressive degeneration and increases the risk of cell death.

ABSTRACT Objective Accurate localization of epileptogenic tubers (ETs) in patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is essential but challenging, as these tubers lack distinct pathological or genetic markers to differentiate them from other cortical tubers.

Maternal age alters offspring lifespan, fitness, and lifespan extension under caloric restriction
Maternal age has a negative effect on offspring lifespan in a range of taxa and is hypothesized to influence the evolution of aging. However, the mechanisms of maternal age effects are unknown, and it remains unclear if maternal age alters offspring ...

Objective Antinuclear antibodies (ANAs) are present at high titers in 2% of the general population, but their clinical significance in individuals without an autoimmune (AI) disease is not known. We tested the hypothesis that the presence of a high ANA titer in non‐AI conditions is associated with disease.
