Effects of ethephon on quality of postharvest seed kernels of Camellia oleifera

open access: yesZhongguo youzhi

Effects of Cultivars and Geography in China on the Lipid Characteristics of Camellia oleifera Seeds.

open access: yesJournal of oleo science, 2019
New cultivars of Camellia oleifera have been developed and planted in southern China. However, lipid characteristics of their seed oils were still unclear. In this study, nine C. oleifera fruits were collected from different cultivars in different planting regions, and the lipid characteristics, such as oil content, fatty acid composition ...

Cytotoxic triterpenoid saponins from the defatted seeds of Camellia oleifera Abel

open access: yesJournal of Asian Natural Products Research, 2017
Five new oleanane-type triterpenoid saponins, oleiferasaponins D1–D5 (1–5), were isolated from the defatted seeds of Camellia oleifera Abel. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic and chemical methods. The cytotoxic activities of compounds 1–5 were evaluated against five human tumor cell lines (HCT-116, HepG2, BGC-823, NCI-H1650, and A2780).

Historical Climatic Fluctuations and Geographic Isolation Shaped the Phylogeographic Patterns of a Mycoheterotrophic Species in Subtropical China

open access: yesBiological Diversity, Volume 3, Issue 1, Page 33-46, March 2026.
Plastome and microsatellite data reveal strong population structure but low genetic diversity in the fully mycoheterotrophic herb Burmannia nepalensis across subtropical China. Multiple glacial refugia and recent population decline highlight the roles of geographic isolation, climatic history, and human disturbance in shaping the biodiversity of ...
