Ultrafiltration Rejection Coefficients of Canola Meal Components

Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology Journal, 1990
Abstract The effect of membrane processes on a compound in solution can be best described by its rejection coefficient. To predict the results of membrane processing on aqueous canola meal extracts, averaged ultrafiltration rejection coefficients were determined for the groups of compounds that form the major components of the meal.
