Pelletisation of canola meal by extrusion–spheronisation for ethanol dehydration
Abstract Canola meal has been previously demonstrated to be an attractive biomaterial for dehydrating wet ethanol vapours in bioethanol manufacture. Extrusion–spheronisation was employed to prepare reasonably spherical pellets of canola meal for use in dehydration units.

Factors that affect the nutritive value of canola meal for poultry
This article reviews the factors affecting the nutritive value of canola meal (CM), including glucosinolates, sinapine, phytic acid, tannins, dietary fiber, and electrolyte balance. It also addresses the means of improving the nutritive value of CM throughout seed dehulling, development of low-fiber canola, or application of feed enzymes.
