Effects of IGFBP4 deficiency on human preadipocyte proliferation and differentiation through the IGF1R/AKT pathway

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. The mechanisms by which IGFBP4 KD influences the IGF1R/AKT signaling pathway involve newly synthesized proteins and lysosomal degradation pathways. Created in BioRender.

A Game Theory-Based Approach Considering Car-Following Behavior for Modeling Merging Behavior at Expressway On-Ramp Sections

open access: yesIEEE Access
Merging at expressway on-ramp sections is a typical mandatory lane-changing maneuver that often causes traffic conflicts and bottlenecks. Although game-theoretic models have been widely applied to describe merging interactions, many existing studies pay ...

Yeast Gcn2 retains activity following humanization of its auto‐phosphorylation region

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Using Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a model to study Gcn2 activation and regulation is limited by the lack of antibodies detecting phosphorylated Gcn2. To overcome this, we engineered Gcn2‐HsC, a yeast Gcn2 variant recognizable by commercial anti‐human phospho‐GCN2 antibodies.

Modeling Car-Following Behaviour of Turning Movements at Intersections with Consideration of Turning Radius

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, 2020
In order to deeply analyze and describe the characteristics of car-following behaviour of turning vehicles at intersections, the features and application conditions of classic car-following models were analyzed firstly.

MagmaFlow: A desktop platform for artificial intelligence‐driven expression analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
MagmaFlow is a free, no‐code platform for gene expression analysis. It generates interactive volcano plots, links genes to literature, pathways, and diseases, prioritizes candidates using millions of publications, identifies affected biological processes, builds network diagrams, and exports publication‐ready figures and reports for macOS and Windows ...

An Extended Car-Following Model at Signalised Intersections

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, 2018
An extended car-following model is proposed on the basis of experimental analysis to improve the performance of the traditional car-following model and simulate a microscopic car-following behaviour at signalised intersections.

Calibration of the Intelligent Driver Model (IDM) at the Microscopic Level

open access: yesFuture Transportation
This paper presents a calibration technique for the Intelligent Driver Model (IDM), a car-following model that considers the physical interpretation of each parameter. Using an instrumented vehicle, trajectory data were gathered for a group of Portuguese

Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.
