Whole‐genome sequencing of multidrug‐resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae from a neonatal ward environment in Chlef revealed persistent resistance genes and the clonal spread of high‐risk ST13. These findings highlight the hospital environment as a potential reservoir for transmission of resistant K. pneumoniae.
