Carbohydrate antigen expression in the adenoma-carcinoma sequence.
Progress in clinical and biological research, 1988Several alterations in carbohydrate antigen expression can occur in colon cancers. Modified structures such as extended LeX and LeY antigens could serve as cancer-associated antigens in the human colon, although none is specific only for colon cancer.

Handling and Conversion of Carbohydrate Sequence Formats and Monosaccharide Notation
2015Various glycobioinformatics resources have developed individual carbohydrate sequence formats to store and handle glycan data. This diversity of sequence formats is one of the major reasons for a rather low interoperability of glycobioinformatics resources.

[15] Isolation of specific sugar sequences using carbohydrate-binding proteins
1982Publisher Summary This chapter presents procedure for isolation of specific sugar sequences using carbohydrate-binding Proteins. This procedure is based on the principle that states specific antibodies against oligosaccharides coupled to polypeptides have high affinities for their homologous haptens.

Prediction of protein-carbohydrate binding sites from protein primary sequence
AbstractA protein is a large complex macromolecule that has a crucial role in performing most of the work in cells and tissues. It is made up of one or more long chains of amino acid residues. Another important biomolecule, after DNA and protein, is carbohydrate. Carbohydrates interact with proteins to run various biological processes.Quazi Farah Nawar +3 more
