LITHOGEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF TERRIGENOUS AND VOLCANOGENIC-TERRIGENOUS ROCKS OF THE LATE PALEOZOIC TOCHER FORMATION OF THE BAGDARIN SYNFORM (WESTERN TRANSBAIKALIA)

open access: yesГеодинамика и тектонофизика
The paper presents new data on the composition of Late Paleozoic terrigenous and volcanogenic-terrigenous rocks of the Upper Devonian-Lower Carboniferous Tocher formation of the Bagdarin synform (Western Transbaikalia).

Seismic studies on the Derbyshire dome [PDF]

open access: yes, 1983
The Derbyshire Dome is thought to have been a stable uplifted area since at least Lower Carboniferous times. This project is principally concerned with four 30km seismic refraction lines which crossed the limestone outcrop of Derbyshire and N ...

Ubiquitination of secretory granules promotes their crinophagic degradation in Drosophila

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ubiquitination of secretory granules in Drosophila larval salivary glands is a critical molecular trigger for crinophagy, the lysosomal degradation of unreleased, or low‐quality granules. The E3 ubiquitin ligase Cnot4 is recruited to the surface of secretory granules to induce crinophagy.

Devonian-Carboniferous palynoflora

open access: yes, 2020
Palynomorph assemblages and palynofacies analysis have been performed on several core samples from the Devonian–Carboniferous deposits identified in five wells located in the eastern part of the Moesian Platform.

The asbian to arnsbergian conodonts and sequence stratigraphy of the Northumberland trough [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Yoredale sequences are excellent exemplars of the sequence stratigraphy model; the spacial and temporal variation of these complex shallow marine/fluvio-deltaic/ coastal plain cycles, exhibit all the uiternal facies architecture that would be expected of

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
