Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Macroscopic nucleon-nucleon correlations caused by the bounce-off process in energetic collisions of heavy nuclei [PDF]
Two-particle correlation data are presented for the reaction Ar (800 MeV/ nucleon) + Pb. The experimental results are analyzed in the nuclear fluid dynamical and in a linear cascade model.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

A Novel C3/C4-Fused Indole Scaffold through Acid-Catalyzed Cascade Reaction
3,4-bridged indoles are underrepresented among the vast number of indoles described in the literature. Attempts to access 3,4-macrocyclized indoles led to the unexpected formation of a novel tetracyclic indole through intramolecular acid-catalyzed ring ...

K^+ momentum spectrum from (K^-,K^+) reactions in intranuclear cascade model
In a framework of intranuclear cascade (INC) type calculation, we study a momentum spectrum in reactions \KK at a beam momentum of 1.65 GeV/c. INC model calculations are compared with the relativistic impulse approximation (RIA) calculations to perform ...

Extended Hauser-Feshbach Method for Statistical Binary-Decay of Light-Mass Systems [PDF]
An Extended Hauser-Feshbach Method (EHFM) is developed for light heavy-ion fusion reactions in order to provide a detailed analysis of all the possible decay channels by including explicitly the fusion-fission phase-space in the description of the ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Integral measurement of the 12C(n, p)12B reaction up to 10 GeV [PDF]
The integral measurement of the 12C(n, p)12B reaction was performed at the neutron time-offlight facility n TOF at CERN. The total number of 12B nuclei produced per neutron pulse of the n TOF beam was determined using the activation technique in ...
