Fine-grained image classification of cashmere wool based on sparse dictionary learning
2021 International Conference on Communications, Information System and Computer Engineering (CISCE), 2021The identification of cashmere and wool fibers has always been a key issue in the wool textile industry. Cashmere and wool fibers are similar in morphology, and the morphological changes of similar fibers are diverse, and the differences within the category are subtle.

The fine undercoat fibers removed from wild goats hunted for meat and trophy, principally belonging to subspecies of Capra ibex, are used as an alternative to Shatoosh, the hair of the endangered Tibetan antelope (Pantholops hodgsonii). Although currently legal, the large-scale use of these fibers (known as "Yangir"), and hybridization of ibex with ...

Fine Structure of Cashmere and Superfine Merino Wool Fibers
Textile Research Journal, 1987Cashmere down and superfine merino wool fibers obtained from a number of sources were examined by transmission electron microscopy. All fibers, regardless of crimp, showed a bilateral cortical structure. Most cashmere and superfine merino fibers could be distinguished from each other by the nature of their cortical cells.

Compare the microRNA (miRNA) trancriptomes of goat and sheep skin using Solexa sequencing to understand the development of skin and hair follicles (HFs). miRNA expression patterns vary in the two small RNA libraries from goat (G library) and sheep (S library) telogen skin samples.

[Identification of fine wool and cashmere by using Vis/NIR spectroscopy technology].
Guang pu xue yu guang pu fen xi = Guang pu, 2010As a rapid and non-destructive methodology, near infrared spectroscopy technique has been attracting much attention recently. The present study applied Vis/NIR spectra to the identification of cashmere and fine wool fiber. Cashmere and fine wool are resemble in superficies, but they differs in diameter, height, thickness, angle of inclination, and ...
