Therapeutic Targeting of BET Bromodomain Proteins in Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer
Men who develop metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) invariably succumb to the disease. Progression to CRPC after androgen ablation therapy is predominantly driven by deregulated androgen receptor (AR) signalling. Despite the success of

Heterogeneity Landscape of Circulating Tumor Cells in Clinical Utility
This study reports the heterogeneity spectrum of circulating tumor cells. The factors involved in the spectrum promote CTCs to overcome barriers in the metastatic cascade but impact the clinical outcome of cancer patients. In summary, the heterogeneities in association with CTCs ultimately reduce patient survival and facilitate increasing mortality of ...

Beyond the immune suppression: the immunotherapy in prostate cancer [PDF]
Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second most common cancer in men.Aswell in many other human cancers, inflammation and immune suppression have an important role in their development. We briefly describe the host components that interact with the tumor to ...

Okanin Suppresses the Growth of Colorectal Cancer Cells by Targeting at Peroxiredoxin 5
Okanin suppresses colorectal cancer growth by directly targeting PRDX5. This natural compound selectively binds peroxiredoxin 5 (PRDX5), inhibiting its activity and inducing WSB1‐mediated degradation. PRDX5 loss elevates ROS, suppresses GPX4 via SIAH2, and further triggers cell death (apoptosis and ferroptosis).

Osteoblast‐CD4+ CTL Crosstalk Mediated by SIRT1/DAAM2 Axis Prevents Age‐Related Bone Loss
In the osteoblastic niche, SIRT1 activates and recruits CD4+ CTLs by increasing DAAM2 expression via EZH2 deacetylation and boosting the secretion of key chemokines, such as CCL3, CCL5, and CXCL10. Then, CD4+ CTL directly eliminates senescent osteoblasts in an MHC‐II‐dependent way, thereby slowing down the process of bone ageing and effectively ...

A novel AR translational regulator lncRNA LBCS inhibits castration resistance of prostate cancer
Progression to a castration resistance state is the main cause of deaths in prostate cancer (PCa) patients. Androgen Receptor (AR) signaling plays the central role in progression of Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer (CRPC), therefore understanding the

A Novel Cultivation System for Germ Cell Proliferation and Sustaining Whole Testicular Niche
A hydrogel microneedle‐based system enables whole testicular cultivation, supporting spermatogonial proliferation and enhancing spermatogenesis in vitro. This ‘whole testicular spermatogonia pool’ (WTSP) significantly increases spermatid production and fertility potential in mice. This system also promotes spermatogonial expansion in human fetal testes,
