Autoantibody–Abzymes with Catalase Activity in Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis Mice [PDF]

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
The exact mechanisms of the evolution of multiple sclerosis are still unknown. At the same time, the development in C57BL/6 mice of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE, simulating human multiple sclerosis) happens as a result of the violation ...

Identification of Maize with Different Moldy Levels Based on Catalase Activity and Data Fusion of Hyperspectral Images [PDF]

open access: yesFoods, 2022
Maize is susceptible to mold infection during growth and storage due to its large embryo and high moisture content. Therefore, it is essential to distinguish the moldy sample from healthy groups to prevent the spread of mold and avoid huger economic ...

The catalase activity of ferrihaems [PDF]

open access: yesBiochemical Journal, 1973
1. The variation of the specific stoicheiometric catalatic activity of proto- and deuteroferrihaem with total ferrihaem concentration has been studied at 25°C over a wide range of pH. For deuteroferrihaem the results imply that only monomeric ferrihaem species contribute significantly to the catalatic activity.
