Chemotactic activity of CCL3 after release from MPs with THP-1 cells in a transwell format.

open access: yes, 2016
The MP-bound CCL3 was assayed after its release from the MPs in CSFM at 37°C for 3 h. The MPs were removed by centrifugation and the supernatants containing released CK were transferred into bottom wells of the transwell plate. The serum-starved cells in

Single‐Cell Atlas Reveals Neutrophil Heterogeneity in Hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae Infection‐Induced Sepsis

open access: yesImmunology, EarlyView.
The roles of distinct lung neutrophil compartments involved in hvKp infection remain poorly understood. Here, utilising single‐cell RNA sequencing, we identified four neutrophil subsets in the lungs of hvKp‐infected mice: N1, N2, N3a, and N3b, which were organised along a maturation trajectory.

Polymorphism in halogen-ethane derivatives: CCl3-CCl3 and ClF2C-CF2Cl

open access: yes
The polymorphism of hexachloroethane, Cl3C−CCl3, has been reinvestigated by means of X-ray and neutron scattering. The long time unknown structure of the intermediate phase II of Cl3C−CCl3 has been determined as monoclinic C2/m, with lattice parameters a

Saliva Liquid Biopsy for Detection of Oral and Systemic Diseases

open access: yesJournal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.
This Review summarizes and discusses the biological foundations and major classes of salivary biomarkers, outlines collection methods and analytical protocols for saliva‐based liquid biopsy, and technological convergences driven by multi‐omics approaches, artificial intelligence, and point‐of‐care devices in the application of oral and systemic ...

Phloridzin Mitigates Aging‐Associated Periodontitis by Restraining Inflammatory Cell Death

open access: yesJournal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.
Phloridzin attenuated oxidative stressinduced senescence, inflammatory responses, and osteogenic dysfunction in HPDLCs. In an aging‐associated experimental periodontitis model, phloridzin alleviated alveolar bone loss, suggesting its potential to maintain periodontal tissue integrity under aging‐related inflammatory conditions.

Echinacea purpurea fraction effects on CCL3 and CCL5.

open access: yes, 2015
Fractions from the silica gel column were tested for their effects on the production of CCL3 (MIP1-α) and CCL5 (RANTES) from RAW 264.7 cells in the absence (A and B) or presence (C and D) of 10 ng/mL LPS. Treatments were for 16–18 hr.

Inflammation and mechanical force‐induced bone remodeling

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract Periodontitis arises from imbalanced host–microbe interactions, leading to dysbiosis and destructive inflammation. The host's innate and adaptive immune responses produce pro‐inflammatory mediators that stimulate destructive events, which cause loss of alveolar bone and connective tissue attachment.

The role of SASP in ischemic stroke: a deep dive into cellular mechanisms

open access: yesFrontiers in Neurology
BackgroundThe escalating incidence of ischemic stroke (IS) exerts a heavy toll on global health. Aging, a prominent risk factor, implicates the senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) in IS pathogenesis.

Mapping the omics landscape for peri‐implant diseases: A scoping review

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract Objectives To map omics evidence across peri‐implant health, peri‐implant mucositis, and peri‐implantitis, and to identify recurring molecular patterns and candidate biomarker signals relevant to diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment. Materials and Methods This scoping review included human studies using genomics, DNA methylation–based ...

High expression of CCL3/CCL4/CCL5/CCR5 promotes exhausted CD8 T cells terminal differentiation and is associated with poor prognosis in pediatric B-ALL patients

open access: yesInternational Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology
This study aims to identify differentially upregulated ligand-receptor interactions between B-ALL cells and exhausted CD8 + T cells and to develop a multivariate Cox regression model for predicting the overall survival of pediatric B-ALL patients based ...
