A Machine Vision‐Guided Microphysiological Platform With Automated Microfluidics Enables Longitudinal Biomarker Monitoring and Emulation of Translationally Relevant Exposure Scenarios

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A pneumatically actuated multi‐tissue microphysiological system is integrated with AI‐based machine vision and automatic sampling and replenishment systems. The platform allows for the emulation of translationally relevant long‐term pharmacokinetic exposure scenarios for multiple weeks while enabling longitudinal monitoring of response biomarkers ...

Long Non-coding RNA HOTTIP Promotes CCL3 Expression and Induces Cartilage Degradation by Sponging miR-455-3p

open access: yesFrontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology, 2019
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play pivotal roles in diseases such as osteoarthritis (OA). However, knowledge of the biological roles of lncRNAs is limited in OA.

Chronic HBV Infection Disrupts CCL5‐Secreting cNK Cells and Attenuates Liver Accumulation and Activation of DCs and HBV‐Specific T Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ADORA2A activation suppresses NFκB‐dependent CCL5 production in cNK cells during chronic HBV infection, disrupting intrahepatic DC recruitment and HBV‐specific CD8+ T‐cell differentiation and function. Targeting the ADORA2A/NFκB/CCL5 axis restores antiviral immunity and facilitates HBV clearance.

CCL3 induced migration occurs independently of intracellular calcium release

open access: yes, 2012
The molecular signalling pathway of cell migration and whether it can occur independently of the release of intracellular calcium is still not completely understood.

Participação da quimiocina CCL3 na carcinogênese bucal induzida por 4-nitroquinolina-1-óxido em camundongos [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The chemokine CCL3 displays a diversity of roles that may contribute to worse prognosis in oral carcinogenesis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of CCL3 in 4-nitroquinoline-1-oxide (4NQO)-induced oral carcinogenesis. C57BL/6 (wild type - WT)

A Decoy‐Receptor‐Armed Biomimetic Nanotherapeutic With Inherent Tropism for Conserved Pathogenic Macrophages for Treating Osteoarthritis and Intervertebral Disc Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A biomimetic doppelgänger nanosystem neutralizes extracellular inflammatory cytokines and silences intracellular pyroptosis, reprogramming pathogenic macrophages to attenuate both joint and spine degeneration. ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis (OA) and intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) are debilitating musculoskeletal disorders driven by shared ...

Otitis Media und bakterielle Kolonisation des Nasopharynx in CCL3-/- Mäusen [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018

CCL3 is produced biphasically following RSV infection.

open access: yes, 2013
Mice were infected intranasally (i.n.) with 5×105 PFU RSV. Weight change after RSV infection (A). Time course of cell recruitment (B), CCL3 RNA (C) protein (D) in the lung and RSV M2 (82-90) peptide stimulated CD3 T cells stained for intracellular CCL3 ...

Overcoming Drug Resistance by Paclitaxel Resistance in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the murine triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) model, chemotherapy effectively increases tumor neoantigen burden (TNB). Here, the study constructs a liposomal nanovaccine using antigens derived from in vitro chemotherapy‐treated paclitaxel‐resistant TNBC 4T1 cells.

Phosphodiesterase 4B is essential for lipopolysaccharide-induced CC chemokine ligand 3 production in mouse macrophages

open access: yesJournal of Medical Sciences, 2015
Background: Phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitors negatively modulate many inflammatory responses, and some of these pharmacological effects are mediated by inhibition of PDE4B in inflammatory cells.
