Quantitative deep sequencing reveals dynamic HIV-1 escape and large population shifts during CCR5 antagonist therapy in vivo. [PDF]
High-throughput sequencing platforms provide an approach for detecting rare HIV-1 variants and documenting more fully quasispecies diversity. We applied this technology to the V3 loop-coding region of env in samples collected from 4 chronically HIV ...

Chemokine receptor CCR5 antagonist maraviroc: medicinal chemistry and clinical applications. [PDF]
The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) causes acquired immumodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), one of the worst global pandemic. The virus infects human CD4 T cells and macrophages, and causes CD4 depletion.

Chemokine receptor CCR1: A new target for progressive kidney disease [PDF]
Infiltrating leukocytes are thought to contribute to the progression of kidney disease. Locally produced chemokines guide circulating leukocytes into the kidney, which renders therapeutic blockade of respective chemokine receptors on the leukocyte ...

ADORA2A activation suppresses NFκB‐dependent CCL5 production in cNK cells during chronic HBV infection, disrupting intrahepatic DC recruitment and HBV‐specific CD8+ T‐cell differentiation and function. Targeting the ADORA2A/NFκB/CCL5 axis restores antiviral immunity and facilitates HBV clearance.

Dual Lineages of Langerhans Cells Cooperate to Restore the Immune Barrier after Skin Injury
After skin injury, the epidermal immune barrier is rebuilt by two sources of Langerhans cells. Resident Langerhans cells first move into the wound during re‐epithelialization, guided by CXCR2 signaling. Later, recruited monocytes become long‐lived Langerhans cells.

Astrocyte‐specific SHP1 deletion disrupts astrocyte–vascular interactions and compromises BBB integrity while enhancing STAT1‐dependent CXCL10 expression. These changes synergistically promote peripheral CD4+ and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration into the SDH. The infiltrating T cells secrete IFN‐γ, which in turn activates microglia.

Compact 9dBEs Enable Efficient and Precise Genome Editing in Mammalian Cells and In Vivo
As a compact type II‐D system, the Cas9d‐based platform holds great potential for in vivo applications. Through rational engineering, its derived base editors (9dBEs) enable efficient disease modeling while facilitating single‐vector AAV delivery for in vivo genome editing. These miniature tools offer a robust strategy for basic research and biomedical
