CD19/CD20 dual-targeted chimeric antigen receptor-engineered natural killer cells exhibit improved cytotoxicity against acute lymphoblastic leukemia

open access: yesJournal of Translational Medicine
Background Chimeric antigen receptor natural killer (CAR-NK) cells represent a promising advancement in CAR cell therapy, addressing limitations observed in CAR-T cell therapy.

Synapse topology and downmodulation events determine the functional outcome of anti-CD19 T cell-redirecting strategies

open access: yes, 2022
Cancer immunotherapy strategies based on the endogenous secretion of T cell-redirecting bispecific antibodies by engineered T lymphocytes (STAb-T) are emerging as alternative or complementary approaches to those based on chimeric antigen receptors (CAR-T)

CCL3 and IL‐7 Synergistically Enhance CAR‐T Efficacy in Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Synergistic delivery of CCL3 and IL‐7 by CAR‐T cells overcomes the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment by enhancing cell infiltration, survival, and local immune reprogramming. This also establishes positive feedback that amplifies anti‐tumor activity and memory responses in both CAR‐T and endogenous T cells, presenting a robust therapeutic ...

How to integrate CD19 specific chimeric antigen receptor T cells with other CD19 targeting agents in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma?

open access: yes
About one third of patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) have a relapsing/refractory (R/R) disease after first line chemo-immunotherapy, with particularly poor outcomes observed in patients with primary refractory disease and early relapse.

Onkogene Effekte von CD19: Vergleichende Untersuchungen an CD19-Verlustvarianten im murinen Burkitt Lymphom

open access: yes, 2020
Background: CD19 is constitutively expressed on B-Lymphocytes and is a central target antigen in modern immunotherapies for B-cell-neoplasia (1). These therapies with CD19 specific antibodies or effector cells can be limited by the loss of CD19 rendering

IL-10 is Predominantly Produced by CD19(low)CD5(+) Regulatory B Cell Subpopulation: Characterisation of CD19 (high) and CD19(low) Subpopulations of CD5(+) B cells

open access: yes, 2011
IL-10 production by CD19(+)CD5(+) B cells was investigated, by determining the expression levels of CD19, a classical B cell marker. Peripheral mononuclear cells were stained with fluorescence-conjugated anti-CD5, anti-CD19, anti-IL-10, and Annexin V ...

Tumor‐Specific Delivery of CD28 siRNA via Lyso‐PC C‐16 Modified Lipid Nanoparticles Overcomes Anti‐PD‐1 Resistance by Remodeling Tumor Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops 16:0 LPC‐modified lipid nanoparticles (LPC‐LNPs) with cancer cell specificity by exploiting altered tumor lipid metabolism. LPC‐LNPs encapsulating Cd28 small interfering RNA (LPC‐LNP‐Cd28) knock down cancer cell CD28 without affecting T cells, inflame the tumor microenvironment, and overcome anti‐PD‐1 resistance.

Profiles of peripheral B cell subsets in a cohort of primary Sjögren's syndrome patients and their potential clinical significance

open access: yesJournal of Dental Sciences
Background/purpose: Primary Sjögren's syndrome is a prototypical autoimmune disease, with B cell dysfunction as a dominant feature. Further insights into distribution of B cell subsets in primary Sjögren's syndrome are urgently required to identify the ...

Allosteric Inhibition of Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 by an EZH2‐Selective Small Molecule Inhibitor

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study characterizes C36, a highly selective EZH2/PRC2 inhibitor that acts via a novel allosteric mechanism. Unlike previous inhibitors, C36 inhibits EZH2/PRC2 by disrupting the allosteric communication between EZH2 and EED in a SAM‐noncompetitive manner.

Abstract 3768: CAR T cells specific for CD19 can be redirected to kill CD19 negative tumors

open access: yes, 2017
Introduction. Remarkable progress has been made in the treatment of relapsed/refractory Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma with CAR-CD19 T cells. In contrast, progress against CD19-negative hematological cancers and solid tumors has been
